The City of Shoreline sits amid the natural beauty of Northwest Washington, located between Seattle to the south and Edmonds to the north.  The location of the City of Shoreline makes it a convenient commute to major employers in the area.  It is also convenient to recreation such as skiing, sailing, hiking, biking, camping, and much more.  The west side of Shoreline overlooks shimmering Puget Sound, the islands, and the majestic Olympic Mountains. To the East, Shoreline is neighbors to Lake Forest Park, another wonderful Puget Sound community.

Neighborhoods

The City of Shoreline consists of fourteen neighborhoods.  Residents of these neighborhoods volunteer to organize events, projects, meetings, publish websites and newsletters.  Events include block parties, ice cream socials, holiday celebrations, and more.  These activities instill a sense of community in these neighborhoods and throughout the City of Shoreline.
